How do foreigners want to live permanently in China?

In addition to the basic materials such as valid foreign passport, health certificate, foreign criminal record certificate, foreigners applying for permanent residence in China shall also submit the following materials.
(1) Investment personnel
1. Duplicate of business license of enterprise legal person;
2. A copy of the approval certificate of the foreign-invested enterprise;
3. Publicity certificate of annual report of the enterprise;
4. Confirmation of foreign investment projects;
5. Copy of capital verification report;
6. The encouraged foreign-invested enterprises shall also provide the confirmation of the foreign-invested projects encouraged by the state or the copies of the certificate issued by the provincial competent department that the enterprise is a foreign-invested enterprise encouraged by the state and the copies of the individual tax payment certificate.
(2) Staff
1. A copy of the employment certificate;
2. Photocopy of foreigner’s work permit to China;
3. Copy of unit registration certificate;
4. Publicity certificate of annual report of the enterprise;
5. A copy of the approval certificate of the foreign-invested enterprise;
6. Copies of project supporting documents or confirmation;
7. Copy of individual tax payment certificate.
(4) Special personnel
1. Copy of recommendation letter;
2. Copies of relevant awards and Achievement Certificates.
(4) Spouse of investment, employment and special personnel and their unmarried children under the age of 18
1. Copy of marriage certificate, birth certificate or parent-child relationship certificate;
2. A copy of the permanent residence ID card of the foreigner who invests, holds a post or is a special person.
(5) Persons reunited with husband and wife
1. Copy of marriage certificate;
2. Photocopy of the spouse’s identity certificate;
3. Copy of house lease or property right certificate;
4. Copy of the certificate of living security.
(6) Family reunion
1. Copy of birth certificate or parent-child relationship certificate;
2. A copy of the identity certificate of the Chinese parent, or a copy of the valid passport of the foreign parent and the permanent residence ID card of the foreigner;
3. If both parents have divorced, a copy of the proof that the respondent has custody responsibility relationship with the applicant shall be issued;
(7) Dependents
1. The applicant does not have a copy of the certificate of lineal relatives abroad;
2. Copies of domestic kinship certificate;
3. A copy of the certificate of permanent residence and ID card of the Chinese citizen, or a copy of the valid passport and permanent residence ID card of the foreigner;
4. Copy of house lease or property right certificate;
5. Photocopy of life security certificate.
(1) application. An alien applying for permanent residence in China shall apply to the public security organ of the people’s Government of a city divided into districts or the public security branch or county bureau of a municipality directly under the central government of the people’s Republic of China by himself or by the parents or the entrusted persons of unmarried children under the age of 18.
If the principal applies for it, it shall submit the power of attorney issued by the applicant and notarized by the notary office. The power of attorney issued by the applicant abroad shall be authenticated by the Chinese embassy or consulate in the country.
(2) acceptance, examination and decision. The accepting organ shall complete the investigation within 3 months from the acceptance and report the qualified ones to the examining organ. The auditing organ shall complete the auditing work within two months and report the qualified ones to the Ministry of public security for approval. If the conditions are not met, the accepting and examining organ shall make a decision on disapproval on behalf of the Ministry of public security within the above-mentioned time limit. The Ministry of public security shall issue a permanent residence ID card to foreigners who have been approved to stay permanently in China. For those who apply for renewal or reissue of certificates, the accepting organ shall, after completing the investigation, report the qualified certificates to the examining organ, and the examining organ shall, after completing the examination, report them to the Ministry of public security for certification.
